Direct answers about estimates, insurance, scanning, calibration and repair timing.
Can I choose California Collision Center instead of my insurer’s suggested shop?
Yes. In California, you have the right to choose your repair facility. Your policy and insurer determine coverage, deductibles and payment; we can help document and explain the repair operations.
Do you work with my insurance company?
We work with many insurers, including claims outside direct repair programs. Our team can review the estimate, document hidden damage, discuss needed supplements and help coordinate the repair. Program participation differs by location and may change.
How accurate is an online photo estimate?
Photos help start the conversation, but they often cannot show damage behind covers, panels, structural components or electronics. A final repair plan may require teardown, scanning, measurements and authorization.
Do you use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair procedures?
Repair planning includes vehicle-specific OEM repair information when applicable, including sectioning and joining methods, corrosion protection, one-time-use components and electronic system requirements.
Will my car need an ADAS calibration?
It depends on the vehicle, damage and procedures. Repairs affecting cameras, sensors, mounting points, suspension, glass or alignment may require calibration or initialization. We check the manufacturer’s requirements for the specific repair.
